The Holy Trinity. Painted by St. Andrei Rublev in the early 15th c. Based on the OT story of the three "angels" who reveal themselves to Abraham at the Oak of Mamre. One of the most famous icons in the world.

About Me

Vicar David
Chicago, IL, United States
I'm an ELCA seminarian in my 3rd year, commonly called internship or vicarage year. I work at Luther Memorial Church in Chicago, and live in Hyde Park with my wife and orange tabby cat. And lots of books. I'm also a musician -- a lyric baritone by trade -- with a strong interest in medieval/renaissance music, and whatever else happens to catch my fancy at the moment.
